Maybe we'll get to see Kaa vs Orbis-- oh wait, Kaa's dead.
That's... Kind of surreal, honestly. I think it's a good breath of fresh air. I like the take on snakes in this story. They have differing personalities, just like humans. You've got your seductive douchebag: the almighty Kaa, the kind but perverted Orbis, the cruel and remorseless King and his five hunters and the loyal Stark and Jura.
I think it's the diversity in character morality and ethics that sets this series apart form most on the Internet. It shows restraint from straight-up coiling, and prefers to make that a reward for such patience. It builds relationships and character bonds, so itfeels justified and more heart-warming, I love the cute relationship between Stark and Justine: it's not one of love, but of friendship based off mutual trust.
In this scene with Lea and Orbis, it doesn't feel forced, or mean-spirited. It's unsettling for Lea, but she trusts him enough to let him. That's the kind of snake story I love to see.
Someone give Senshumaru the John Newbery Award or some kind of award.
